SullivanCotter survey: Higher compensation, lower pay per wRVU
While total cash compensation increased, the average pay rate per wRVU for 10 major specialties declined by 6.3%. This has less to do with market trends and more to do with the modifications made by CMS in 2007 to the value of a wRVU, says Kim Mobley, a principal at SullivanCotter and the survey director.
