Don't get pulled into litigation by respondeat superior
The respondeat superior doctrine says an employer can be held responsible for the actions of an employee, even when the employer is without fault. If the employee acts on behalf of the employer and the employer can exercise control over the physical actions of the employee, the doctrine of respondeat superior can come into play.
