Exact or inexact?
That's the question when it comes to physician buy-in
For one of your physicians to become a full coowner, he or she will buy in using one of two methods: exact or inexact buy-in.
The exact method assigns a specific value to a practice's soft assets such as goodwill value and accounts receivable. The incoming partner pays a share by taking that much less income during the next several years.
