Streamlined system for Part A begins, Part B to follow in 2006 The long-awaited streamlining of the Medicare claims fee-for-service appeals process began May 1, 2005. Under the new system, providers can appeal Medicare Part A claims; providers under Part B are slated to start using the new system in January 2006.
