Two ways to save 100,000 lives
The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) launched in December 2004 its campaign to save 100,000 lives in hospitals throughout the country by using six evidence-based interventions.
Hospitals have the option of using any or all of the goals, but there’s no reason most hospitals can’t implement all six, says Joseph McCannon, director of the campaign.
