Nine More Hospitals Fined $550,000 for Putting Patients at Risk
State officials have fined nine California hospitals for medical errors that resulted in "immediate jeopardy" to patients. The fines total $550,000 in the latest round of penalties against California hospitals, state health officials announced yesterday.
