LifePoint Acquires Sumner Regional Health for $145 Million
LifePoint Hospitals, Inc. has purchased Sumner Regional Health Systems in Nashville for $145 million and will change the name to HighPoint Health System. LifePoint now operates 52 hospitals in 17 states.
