Fatal Attack Renews Calls for Healthcare Workplace Safety



They've been spit on, hit, pushed, shoved, scratched, or kicked while on the job. And last week, RN Cynthia Barraca Palomata died after an attack from a prisoner receiving treatment at the Martinez Detention Facility in CA. Workplace violence against nurses is all too common, but the California Nurses Association is weighing in on how make that change.
