Health Reform May Endanger Independent Physician Practices

Healthcare reform will likely mean the end of full-time, independent, private practitioners accepting third-party payments, a report suggests. Seventy-four percent of physicians surveyed say they will retire, work part-time, or close their practices to new patients as healthcare reform continues.
