CMS: Healthcare Spending Grew at Slowest Rate in 50 Years in 2009
Battered by economic recession, healthcare spending grew by only 4% in 2009. Spending was partially offset by increased Medicaid enrollments, according to analysis by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
