AMA: 1 in 5 Medical Claims Incorrectly Processed
The American Medical Association has launched a campaign against inaccurate private health insurer payments using tools such as online checklists. Inefficiency in claims processing wastes an estimated $15.5 billion annually and can consume up 14% of a physician's salary, AMA says.
