Drugstore Hand Sanitizers Don't Kill MRSA, Warns FDA
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says it has not approved any retail products claiming to prevent infection from methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. The agency has issued warning letters to four companies that make or distribute over-the-counter products claiming to prevent infection from MRSA.
