CMS Releases SNF PPS Final Rule for 2012
The Skilled Nursing Facilities Prospective Payment System final rule reduces payment rates in FY 2012 by $3.87 billion in order to correct an unintended spike in payment levels and better align Medicare payments with costs, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services says.
