Trauma Survival Study Reveals Racial Disparities



Trauma patients of all races have a better chance of survival if they receive care at a trauma center in a hospital that treats primarily non-minority patients, researchers at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine find. Systemic issues with the hospitals may be at play, they suggest.
