Hospital M&As Continue Apace in 2011

This year was one of the busiest in a decade for hospital mergers and acquisitions. The top 10 deals in 2011 were valued at $5.6 billion, up from $3.8 billion in 2010. In the healthcare sector as a whole, M&A was valued at about $236 billion in 2011.
