Leaders Weigh in on Defensive Medicine

More than half of physician leaders surveyed say they have, in the past year, ordered a test or procedure for primarily defensive medicine reasons. It's among the top cost drivers, but as one radiation oncologist says, "if you can't protect the physicians, you can't change it."
