U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals List Shifts Methodology

This year, the magazine's algorithm for determining hospital scores gives less weight to a facility's reputation and more weight to hospital data that is publicly available, such as information collected by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
