Hospital Shootings Rare, But Preparedness Still Warranted



A Johns Hopkins study examining 11 years of data on 154 hospital shootings concludes that no hospital is immune from shootings. Zero risk is not attainable. But specialized training for hospital law enforcement and security teams is the best deterrent.
