KY attorney general seeks to join Kosair Children's Hospital fight

Kentucky Attorney Gen. Jack Conway took steps Wednesday to join lawsuits among Norton Healthcare, the University of Louisville and Kosair Charities in hopes of resolving disputes over the funding of Kosair Children's Hospital Conway filed motions Wednesday in both Franklin and Jefferson circuit courts for the state and Gov. Steve Beshear to intervene in what he called "two important cases affecting the health-care community in Kentucky." In each of the cases, Conway asked the courts to appoint a special master to assist the state in accounting for revenues and expenses at Kosair Children's Hospital.
