Mercy is partnering with Tennessee-based Centerre Healthcare to build the new $27 million, 60-bed rehab hospital near Springfield, Mo., according to Jay Guffey, chief operating officer of Mercy Springfield. With the new, 63,000-square-foot rehab hospital Mercy expects to serve 730 patients in 2014 and 1,200 patients in 2016.
