SSM Health takes over operations of in-store clinics at 26 St. Louis area Walgreen stores on Thursday.
The SSM Health Express Clinics at Walgreens — which will operate seven days a week, including evenings — will be staffed by nurse practitioners who will be able to treat walk-in patients for a variety of minor ailments. The clinics are expected to expand Creve Coeur-based SSM's reach, connecting patients from the clinics to SSM's other services.
