CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER – SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS

Drive financial strategic decisions for Molina’s Texas Health Plan. Manages all financial reporting including monthly financial statements, cash flow management, enrollment reporting, eligibility reconciliation, NAIC, DOI and other regulatory filings, budget process, accounting functions, Sarbanes Oxley Compliance and all other reporting. Implement accounting controls to ensure regulatory compliance with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement principles required for proper revenue recognition. Achieve and maintain financial goals including Membership, Revenue, MCR and Administrative cost ratio goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. CPA is required.
  • Strong accounting expertise in all areas of Medicare/Medicaid compliance reporting
  • Thorough working knowledge of Graduate Medical Education (GME), Medicare Bad Debt, Wage Index, and Disproportionate Share (DSH).
  • Strong financial, analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills

Recent completion of an affiliation with the Dartmouth School of Medicine will add importantly to CPMC’s contribution to the training of next generation practitioners. Russell Reynolds Associates has been retained to recruit The Director, Patient Financial Services for CPMC. The Director will be responsible for the management of an operating budget of more than $22 million and will report to the CFO. The Director will be responsible for the Patient Financial Services units for all four campuses including all functions of Registration, Billing, Collections, Cash Application, Contract Management, Charge Description Masters, Customer Service, Vendor Relations and goal setting. She or he will be responsible for timely analysis and recommendations to the CFO on issues affecting cash collection, compliance, and contract issues. CPMC is seeking a strategic CFO who has experience in a multi-sited healthcare system of similar size and scale to CPMC. This should include a track record of provision of excellent analytic skills supporting an efficient, profitable enterprise with an extremely sophisticated board and finance committee.

This is the job for a QI CASE REVIEW COORDINATOR with expert clinical knowledge and experience to review and screen cases, facilitate peer review, track and trend data, and maintain files to determine whether care was delivered in accordance with the Medical Staff Constitution, Medical Staff General Rules and Regulations, Hearing Manual, accreditation, regulatory and licensing requirements.
