Methodist’s hospital plan for Olive Branch gets recommendation
Memphis Commercial Appeal, July 6, 2010
Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare has received a positive recommendation for its plan to build a hospital in Olive Branch, another step forward in the process as the plan moves toward what officials hope will soon be the final OK to proceed. The Memphis-based hospital chain made its case for a certificate of need during a March hearing in Jackson. Final word is still pending from state Health Department officials, but hospital representatives today hailed the hearing officer’s positive recommendation as a good sign.
