Orthopaedic Specialty Hospital to go paperless

York Daily Record, October 8, 2010

What's interesting about the Orthopaedic Specialty Hospital in York Township is what's there, of course: $7.5 million worth of state-of-the-art equipment, spacious operating suites and 30 private rooms.

Just as interesting is what isn't there: paper.

The $29.5 million hospital, when it opens and doctors begin performing joint replacement and spinal surgeries Oct. 18, will be completely digital, said Dr. Steven Groff, chairman and president of the Orthopaedic and Spine Specialists executive committee.
