Growing need in primary care workforce

A study published in the November/December 2012 issue of the Annals of Family Medicine, "Projecting US Primary Care Physician Workforce Needs: 2010-2025," projects that by 2025, the United States will need an additional 52,000 primary care physicians to accommodate the country's expanding healthcare utilization.
