Supply all tax ID numbers to a plan to avoid payment problems
Providers often sign plan contracts in the names of their parent organizations or corporate offices on behalf of the provider and its subsidiaries and affiliates. For example, your health system may contract with a plan on behalf of your general hospital, nursing home, and physician-hospital organization. Or your durable medical equipment company may sign the contract on behalf of its 10 locations.
