Health professional training and education on the Net
Soon to be gone are the days of having to sign up for healthcare training classes, or gathering employees for all-day compliance and regulatory updates and seminars. A growing trend toward Web-based programs--e-learning--is changing the way health workers’ training and education takes place. For one thing, the Web makes learning opportunities available any time, any place, to reduce the obstacles of time and distance.
But more than that, e-learning programs offer the benefits of multiple mediums, interactivity as well as ability to store items for future review, and endless flexibility, including customization to suit the individual learner’s needs.
