Patient mortality rates drop at Pennsylvania hospitals

Patient mortality rates at the Pennsylvania's hospitals declined over a three-year period, according to an annual report from the Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council. The report also found, however, that more people on average needed to be readmitted.
