SSM announces several key personnel moves

SSM Health Care has announced three key personnel moves. Melvin Alexander has been named corporate vice president, Finance and Treasury, effective Dec. 17. Dan Varga, MD, regional vice president-medical affairs and CMO of SSM Health Care-St. Louis, will leave the health system at the end of November and has accepted a new position with St. Joseph Health System in Lexington, KY. Philip P. Gustafson has been named president/CEO of St. Mary's Good Samaritan Inc. in Centralia, IL, and system vice president of SSM Health Care, effective Dec. 30
