New Taiwan clinic to promote medical tourism from China
Radio Taiwan International, March 24, 2009
Taiwan Health, a clinic funded by a Taiwanese businessman based in China, is expected to attract Chinese patients to Taiwan for medical treatment when it opens in Guangzhou in southern China in June. The new clinic will cater mainly to Taiwanese professionals working in China, but officials hope to conduct referrals for Chinese patients who wish to be treated in Taiwan.
