Ahuja Medical Center's design marries art, science
Cleveland Plain Dealer, March 2, 2011
Large windows, original artwork and comfortable yet stylish furniture greet visitors in the lobby and emergency-room entrances. Add to that amenities such as valet parking, gardens for strolling, wireless access and indoor/outdoor dining areas, and you have the latest in hospital design being used around the country.
Ahuja President James Benedict Jr. says these features and others in patient rooms, surgical suites, labs and treatment areas are part of evidence-based design concepts proven to help patients recover faster, reduce medical errors and enhance employee efficiency.
