Heart doctors use iPhone to help patients

The Sun-Herald, February 18, 2010

A team of cardiologists at Ocean Springs, MS-based Singing River Health Systems is using their Apple iPhones for mobile viewing of patient records, including results of tests like EKGs. The doctors are using the mobile technology to view patients' test results immediately, regardless of the physician's location. They say using the technology provides healthcare advantages such as accelerated diagnosis, decision-making, and treatment.
