U.S. hospitals asked to aid quake victims

Partners in Health, a Boston-based international health organization, is asking all U.S. hospitals whether any can accept severely injured patients from Haiti who are in dire need of surgery. Partners in Health spokesman Andrew Marx said the nonprofit is sending surgeons and medical supplies to Haiti in donated airplanes and is hoping to send those planes back to the United States with the most critically injured patients.
