Kaiser Permanente's South Sacramento facility verified as Level II trauma center

Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center has been verified as a Level II Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons. The Trauma Center at Kaiser Permanente opened August 2009, and has treated an average of 150 critically injured patients per month in the south Sacramento County area.
