RETURN ON INVESTMENT STUDY FOR MEDICAL SIMULATION TRAINING

This study is the first attempt to quantify the return on investment for medical simulators - because to justify a capital equipment purchase, a hospital or training institution needs both a clinical and a cost-benefit justification. Immersion Medical engaged Frost & Sullivan to do this study in conjunction with The Health Research and Educational Trust (HRET), the research affiliate of the American Hospital Association. This paper reports on the results.
