HealthLeaders Media seeks to promote the exchange of information and ideas among its members and others in the healthcare sector by various means, including the distribution of features, columns and case studies written by HealthLeaders Online News members.
Members of HealthLeaders Online News are encouraged to contribute original material for online publication in HealthLeaders Online News daily and weekly e-mail newsletters. HealthLeaders magazine does not accept contributed material of any kind for print publication.
In an effort to keep our online newsletters free of charge, HealthLeaders Online News does not reimburse authors monetarily for their submissions.
Material submitted for use by HealthLeaders Media must be in the form of:
- Features - Objectively written subject matter of interest to health leaders
- Columns - The author's opinions on subject matter of interest to health leaders
Material deemed by HealthLeaders Media to be primarily advertising-related will not be considered for publication. HealthLeaders Online News will only consider original material written exclusively for our site. We will not consider republishing content that has been previously printed or posted to another Web site.
Guidelines are only intended to provide a framework for submissions. HealthLeaders Online News will accept or reject submissions based on editorial merit.
Material submitted for use by HealthLeaders Media whether features, columns or case studies, should be fewer than 1,500 words in length. It is the sole responsibility of the author to ensure the accuracy of the material. HealthLeaders Media reserves the right to edit the submitted material.
HealthLeaders Media will have the right to publish any submitted material, make the material available on the Internet and Intranets and archive the material on the HealthLeaders Online News web site. The author will not knowingly submit the work of others, will not engage in any form of plagiarism or misrepresentation of the intellectual property of others and will not submit work that in any way violates copyright laws.
Consideration and Author Recognition
HealthLeaders Media will have the right to use the author's original work, and the author will have his or her work distributed to HealthLeaders Online News members and to others via any distribution method chosen by HealthLeaders Media, including the Internet and/or Intranets. The author will receive authorship credit in the form of a byline at the beginning of the submitted material and a brief biographical sketch with an e-mail link at the end of the material. HealthLeaders Media will retain the right to edit the submitted material. Opinions expressed in the material do not necessarily represent the views of the staff and management of HealthLeaders Media.

The author, by submitting material to HealthLeaders Media agrees to the terms set forth in these guidelines, which may be changed without notice.
