HR Resources from HealthLeaders Media
This insightful, data-rich resource outlines proven strategies for determining community physician need and fulfilling those needs appropriately. The book provides practical approaches for engaging different types of physicians in various markets, including regions facing a shortage. Central to the underlying philosophy of the book is the notion that hospitals must "attract the best by being the best" and includes strategies executives can use to achieve that goal.
Choosing the call physician compensation model that works best for your hospital is essential to strong hospital-physician alignment, as well as a healthy bottom line. But there are other options than paying physicians directly?and by the hour?for call coverage. This 90-minute webcast, including Q&A, will explore benefits of emerging models for call coverage and examine the scenarios under which each option would be the best fit.
