Americans endorse ParkwayHealth Singapore
Promoting its value and patient-centered care, ParkwayHealth this week released several patient testimonials from Americans who recently received care in Parkway's Singapore hospitals. "My comfort level was quite high," says Parkway patient Michael Horowitz, MD, MBA. "The entire staff went above and beyond what you would expect to get in a U.S. hospital. Standards for accreditation
More than a month after announcing that it will offer "accreditation," the Medical Tourism Association has had a change of heart. On its Web site, MTA changed the term "accreditation" to "certification." From what I gather from Avery Comarow's blog post, the MTA's advisory board told the trade group's president that offering accreditation isn't the best idea. You might recall I wrote about MTA's program last month, and it is good to see the association is responding to its advisors' concerns. Companion Global Healthcare adds Wockhardt Hospitals
Here's more info about the latest Companion Global Healthcare deal that I noted last week. Wockhardt Hospitals in Mumbai and Bangalore, both accredited by JCI and affiliated with Harvard Medical International, have become the first two facilities in India accepted into Companion Global Healthcare's network of overseas hospitals. Companion now has affiliations with 10 hospitals located in India, Costa Rica, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and Ireland. [Read More] |
