Senate Passes SGR Fix, Obama Likely to Sign

The Senate passed another short term fix for the sustainable growth rate formula, providing a one year delay to the 24% cut in Medicare reimbursements for physicians that would have kicked in after the March 31st deadline. The patch also delayed both the ICD-10 medical coding set and the two-midnights rule as well.
