Louisiana Medical Center & Heart Hospital's parent company, MedCath Corp., is exploring both sale of its entire company or specific hospitals under its fold. While he would not comment on any specifics in terms of moves being made to look more desirable to potential buyers, Art Parker, the corporation's chief financial officer and executive vice president, said that "the whole process itself is very much in line with this type of effort," the New Orleans Times Picayune reports.
