Former VCU Health System leader resigns from similar post at OSU

Sheldon M. Retchin, MD, the former longtime CEO of the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System who left two years ago to take a similar post at Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center, abruptly resigned this week. Retchin resigned from his position as executive vice president of health sciences and CEO of the Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, after letters were sent criticizing his job performance and his leadership and management styles.
