Florida Hospital-United Healthcare face-off spurs fear, anger

About 400,000 healthcare consumers in Central Florida are caught in the middle of the contentious contract negotiations between United Healthcare and Florida Hospital. And if the contract between the two expires Aug. 15, thousands of Seminole County teachers, hundreds of Orange County sheriff's deputies and legions of county employees will be left looking for new doctors. The prospect of changing doctors has sent a ripple of fear — and waves of anger — throughout workplaces.
