The number of Georgians who have signed up for a federal healthcare exchange that's part of the Affordable Care Act has grown. Representatives of federal agencies, Fulton County officials, and local groups celebrated the new enrollment numbers on Friday. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says more than 316,500 Georgians have signed up for the exchange. Renard Murray is the Regional Administrator for Medicare and Medicaid Services. He says, "Today marks a very important of our history in the state Georgia…Millions of Americans and hundreds of thousands here in Georgia now have access to health insurance coverage that they can enjoy not just today but for the rest of the year and going forward."
