CaroMont Health, the parent company of Gaston Memorial Hospital, has named a Virginia administrator as its next president and CEO. Randall L. Kelley is expected to officially take the post in early 2012. He replaces Valinda Rutledge, who left the Gastonia-based company in May to serve as the director of the Patient Care Models Group at the CMS Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation. Kelley is the CEO of Inova Loudoun Hospital and Senior Vice President of Inova Health System in Leesburg, VA, a position he has held since 2006. Before that, he was president and CEO of Gateway Health System/Triad Hospitals in Clarksville, TN.
