Does mandating nurse-patient ratios improve care?
Yes, mandated ratios improve nurse retention, improve morale, and increase patient satisfaction
Somewhat, but while mandated ratios improve some areas of care, they do not improve all aspects of care
No, the ratios are too difficult to enforce and it is too costly to implement
Possibly, but more concrete evidence is needed to prove the ratios improve quality of care
