Darcy Craven, the chief executive officer of Carolinas Hospital System, is heading north. Craven joined the hospital as chief operating officer in 2011 and was promoted to CEO in 2012. He will resign effective Oct. 7, the hospital announced Tuesday afternoon. He has accepted a position with a hospital in Buffalo, New York.
