Former CEO of St. Louis-area medical firm indicted

A federal grand jury has indicted the former chief executive of a St. Louis area medical practice on charges that he embezzled millions of dollars and also violated the nation's "stolen valor" law by posing as a war hero. Dunard Morris, 48, was indicted late Wednesday on multiple counts of mail fraud and wire fraud for alleged thefts from Chesterfield-based Metropolitan Urological Specialists PC. The government also alleges violations of a federal statute that makes it a crime to lie about receiving a U.S. military decoration or medal.
