Former HealthSouth CEO Scrushy moved to halfway house

Former HealthSouth CEO Richard Scrushy, convicted in a federal government corruption case, has been moved from a Texas prison into a halfway house in Houston as he nears the end of his sentence. Scrushy's sentence is scheduled to end July 25. He and former Gov. Don Siegelman were convicted in 2006 of bribery and honest services fraud. Prosecutors alleged that Scrushy bought a seat on a hospital regulatory board by arranging $500,000 in donations to Siegelman's 1999 campaign to establish a state lottery.
