Hoboken University Medical Center is now officially under new leadership. The Hoboken Municipal Hospital Authority handed off the hospital to HUMC Holdco, the same group that owns Bayonne Medical Center, today at a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the hospital's emergency room lobby. Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer said she was glad that the hospital sale was able to succeed despite a long, arduous process and several complications from a scrabble for funding to pay the hospital's creditors, an almost-botched hospital parking agreement and more.
