Hospital merger goes code blue

A planned merger between the two largest hospital systems in Oklahoma City was terminated Monday. SSM Health, the parent of St. Anthony Hospitals, will not pursue plans to operate the University of Oklahoma’s medical systems, hospitals, and clinic buildings. The two health systems will continue to collaborate and share best practices for patient treatment, according to a news release issued Monday.
